Setting Up the Texas Instruments SDP2420 Development Board Hardware (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The following steps show you how to connect the Texas Instruments SDP2420 Development Board to a development workstation.
To set up the Texas Instruments SDP2420 Development Board
Download and install the OMAP Software Tools from the TI Web site.
Connect the power supply to the Texas Instruments SDP2420 Development Board mainboard.
Connect the USB cable to the USBOTG (J1512) connector on the mainboard and to your PC.
Connect an Ethernet cable from your hub or switch to the J6 connector on the Texas Instruments SDP2420 Development Board debug board.
Connect a serial cable from your PC to J9 on the debug board.
Turn the power switch to the ON position (away from the power supply jack).
If a window appears the stating that USB device is unknown, install the OMAP24xx USB host driver from the OMAP Software Tools directory. For more information, see the OMAP Software Tools documentation.
