Determines whether the specified event occurred within the specified element.

Syntax

var boolean = WinJS.Utilities.eventWithinElement(element, event);

Parameters

  Type: HTMLElement

  The element.

• event
  Type: Event

  The event.

Return value

Type: Boolean

true if the event occurred within the element; otherwise, false.
