WinJS.Application.queueEvent function

Queues an event to be processed by the WinJS.Application event queue.

The events that can be added to the WinJS.Application queue include the ones listed below. You can also add user-defined events to the queue.

• checkpoint

• unload

• activated

• loaded

• ready

• settings

• error

Syntax

WinJS.Application.queueEvent(eventRecord);

Parameters

• eventRecord
  Type: Object

  The event object is expected to have a type property that is used as the event name when dispatching on the WinJS.Application event queue. The entire object is provided to event listeners in the detail property of the event.

Return value

This function does not return a value.
