MonitoringConnectorSubscription.Name Property

Gets or sets the name for the connector subscription.

Property Value

Returns a String that contains the name of the connector subscription.

Remarks

The Name of the subscription. The Name property is set by the MonitoringConnectorSubscription constructor.

The Name property must be unique and cannot duplicate any other subscription name. Attempting to modify the Name property with the Update method will result in an InvalidOperationException being thrown.

If the DisplayName property is set to null when the subscription is created, the Name property is used in the Alerts Connector - Product Connector Properties dialog box as well as in the Product Connector Subscription Wizard.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
