MapToIcon Method

The MapToIcon method of the SPUtility class returns the name of the image file for the icon that is used to represent the specified file.

Parameters

web   A Microsoft.SharePoint.SPWeb object that represents the site containing the file.

strFileName   A string that contains the file name.

strProgID   A string that contains the ProgID of the application that was used to create the file.

Return Value

A string that contains the name of the image file for the icon.
