XmlEventArgs.OldParent Property

Gets an XPathNavigator object pointing to the node which is the parent of the node being deleted.

Property Value

Type: System.Xml.XPath.XPathNavigator
An XPathNavigator object for the parent of the deleted node.

Remarks

The value of the OldParent property is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) unless the change that is occurring is a delete operation. When a delete operation was performed, the Operation property will return XmlOperation.Delete.

This member can be accessed without restrictions.
