ILogScripting::GetClientUserName

This method enables the caller to retrieve the client's user name for the HTTP operation that is referred to by the current log record.

Parameters

  • pClientUserName
    [out, retval] Points to a VARIANT that should be populated with the client's user name.

Remarks

In order to obtain a meaningful result from this method, the caller must have first used either the ILogScripting::SetInputLogFile or ILogScripting::SetInputServerInstance methods to initialize the log access, and then opened a specific log record with the ILogScripting::ReadLogRecord method.

Requirements

Client: Requires Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT Workstation 4.0.

Server: Requires Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT Server 4.0.
