You use the Posting form to set up the inventory posting profile. When you create or update a posting record, make sure that the corresponding inventory transaction combination is activated.

  1. Click Inventory management > Setup > Posting > Posting.

  2. Create a record for an inventory item posting account. For more information see, Item posting (form).

  3. In the Inventory profile relation field, select Profile.

  4. In the Kind of activity field, select Basic, Commission agent, Principal's agent, or Bailee as the profile activity type. This field is available only when you select Type in the Inventory profile relation field.

  5. In the Inventory profile field, select the inventory profile to set up inventory posting. This field is available only when you select Profile in the Inventory profile relation field.
