Sharing Ink Between Applications
Sharing Ink Between Applications
Your application can store ink in Ink Serialized Format (ISF) or Fortified Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) inside your normal document or within a document format that is readable by other applications. For instance, the 2007 Microsoft Office system offers an XML file format. This enables your application to create an XML file that contains your ink, and you can load that file into any Microsoft Office 2007 application.
Interoperability with Windows Journal
The JournalReader class enables your application to load ink from a file saved in Windows Journal. This class does not, however, support saving data to a Journal file format.
