New Features
- The ‘Run subflow’ action now comes with a new ‘Input as expression’ property, which permits the dynamic invocation of subflows through variables during runtime.
Enhancements & Improvements
The ‘Log message’ action now supports messages up to 10,000 characters, increasing the maximum allowed size of the corresponding custom execution logs from the previous 128 characters.
The output properties of the scripting actions under the respective module now support up to 10,000 characters, increasing their maximum allowed log size from the previous 128 characters.
A new troubleshooting category around installation issues has now been added to the troubleshooter tool.
Nested lists, for instance lists that are properties of a custom type, are now properly supported in PowerFx flows.
Pressing CTRL + F while in the flow designer now brings the flow search text field in focus.
Selecting and adding an action from the suggested actions panel now only needs a single instead of a double click.
The connector definition deserialization process has now become more resilient, to avoid issues related to loading connector operations and handle errors more gracefully.
Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:
An issue where child flow arguments for schema v1 were not correctly loading some data, potentially causing missing inputs and outputs, has now been addressed.
The proper error message is now thrown, when trying to run from the console a flow that is configured to call a deleted child flow.
Upon trying to save a flow that contains one or more invalid characters, a more descriptive error message is now thrown to the user.
In the ‘Go to’ action, when a validation error is already in place due to an invalid label, selecting a valid label now immediately removes the said error.
An issue with connector actions being enabled automatically, when copied in disabled state from one flow to another, has now been resolved.
An issue with the connectors’ dynamic schema, which sometimes did not work properly and failed to load the respective additional parameters in an action, has now been resolved.
A minor localization issue with the time units in the timeout property of desktop flows has now been resolved.
The UI of the ‘Go to line’ popup dialog has been slightly adjusted, to avoid overlaps between the text border and the title, also fixing the corresponding issue when pressing the shortcut CTRL + G.

An issue with the actions’ error handling mode ‘Go to label’, not displaying properly the selected label under certain circumstances, has now been resolved.
Optional Boolean input parameters are now properly handled in cloud connector operations, when used in PowerFx flows.
Some previously missing binary object values are now properly supported in PowerFx flows, resolving the corresponding issues.
Some generic SQL and timeout errors, occurring when updating flow names, are now being handled properly.
An issue with the Power Automate troubleshooter link missing from some connectivity related error messages is now resolved.
Connectivity errors that are related to unsuccessful Dataverse calls have now been improved to include additional useful information.
During web recording on a text field of a web browser, an issue with the Send keys action sometimes not being recorded properly has now been resolved.
The action ‘Take screenshot of web page’ now throws the expected error instead of a null reference, when the target web element is not found on the page.
The issue of populating text fields on web pages not working correctly on Internet Explorer has now been resolved.
The exception thrown in RDP when capturing from focused has now been resolved.
A null reference exception occurring in some UI element extracting scenarios has now been resolved.
Using the web recorder on the Manage Chrome profile page now properly recognizes the web UI elements, rather than throwing the popup to get the web extension.
An error thrown when using the OCR actions with the Tesseract engine has now been fixed.
Other announcements
The Microsoft Dataverse connector has now become generally available for all premium users.
Auto-claiming a Power Automate Premium license is now also available when the user signs into the Power Automate machine runtime app, so long as the respective policy is in place in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
