Installer version 2.35.154.23208 - Microsoft Store version 10.0.7324.0 updates
New Features
The premium action ‘Log message’ has been introduced under the Logging group of actions, allowing users to log their own custom text messages with a specified log level in the flow run logs.
A new setting is now available in the properties of each flow in the console, allowing users to disable the default behavior of adding a screenshot to the flow run action logs in the portal, in case of an error. This feature is only available if v2 schema is enabled.
The values of Text, Numeric, Boolean and Datetime variables can now be edited during debugging through the variable value window, when the flow is paused, so that users can perform tests and debug using their own values for these variable types.
The following Excel actions:
- Read from Excel worksheet
- Select cells in Excel worksheet
- Activate cell in Excel worksheet
- Write to Excel worksheet
...will now have the additional ability to reference Excel cells by name.
Enhancements & Improvements
Users that are admins on their machines can now by default use the verbose logging functionality through the troubleshooter, ignoring the requirement of the corresponding registry key.
The button ‘Export logs’ for the verbose logging functionality in the troubleshooter has been enhanced, so that it includes all the proper files without limitations, even if a flow designer happens to be open.
Certain diagnostic categories of the troubleshooter can now go through all the required checks, when those are independent from each other, rather than stopping at the first possible error.
Remediation steps have now been added in UI automation action errors, thrown in cases where the target UI element can‘t be found.
Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:
An issue with some error messages appearing twice in the troubleshooter’s screen has now been resolved.

The tool to inspect UI elements now properly works on Notepad++ menu items.
