Version 2.16.215.22020 updates
New features
- Users will now have the ability to group Excel instances under a single Excel process. This way, Excel instances will be able to reference multiple macros. The ability to launch isolated instances will also remain available.
Enhancements & improvements
- This release includes some performance fixes for certain user activities during flow authoring, like adding/deleting/editing/moving an action inside the Main subflow or navigating from one subflow to another. More performance improvements will be coming in the following release as well.
- Sovereign cloud users are now enabled to sign-in to Power Automate for desktop without an RPA with attended license (with a work or school account).
- The image picker menu in image recognition actions now presents the captured images as thumbnails, instead in the form of a list.
Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:
- Console's Modified column now automatically updates when the user saves from the designer and not when the designer closes.
- Subflows now function independently, as far as their scrollbar is concerned. Scrolling down in one subflow will not affect the view in other subflows.
- When an Excel document is launched as read-only, trying to save it now results in an error.
