  I entered. I already pre-ordered a Kinect bundle, but this sweepstakes could finally be the chance to get an Xbox with Kinect(first had plans to get them a Wii) into my parent's home. Hopefully they will get that chance to see why I have liked the console so much over the past several years.

  So I tried to enter via the alternate method but it tells me I must purchase a gold membership, but NO WHERE does it say I must have a gold membership in the official rules in order to enter via the website. Customer service is just rude when I asked why the rules and the website do not match up. SO how do I enter? I want to avoid submitting a complaint with my states attorney, but if no help then I must.

  From the rules on this page (www.xbox.com/.../rules.htm): "To enter online via Xbox LIVE Marketplace using an Xbox 360 console, you must have access to an Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, memory, and an Xbox LIVE Gold membership in good standing." When you say alternate method, I usually think of the snail mail route, but there wasn't one for this sweeps.
