Introducing the Visual Studio ALM Rangers – Barry Paquet
This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. SeeRanger Index (Who is Who?)for more details.
I am an ALM practice Director (West Coast) for InCycle Software and Entrepreneur (think Micro ISV). I’m a product management junkie, agile advocate, and SAFe consultant. As Director, I’m fortunate to lead a team of highly talented experts that help organizations and development teams realize the benefits of a fully integrated ALM platform with Visual Studio and TFS. As a consultant, I am eager to help organizations not only transition to agile, but also scale agile across the enterprise and embrace “business” agility. On weekends I mascaraed as an athlete, experienced coach and power shopper. More than anything, I am a lucky husband and proud father.
What makes you tick?
Smart people (they help me realize how little I know). College football and 7:00 AM weekend minor hockey practice. KitKats.
Where do you live?
Good question. Currently split between Montreal, QC and Seattle WA. I guess you could say I travel a lot.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
I love team work and contributing to the community. If I can help people be successful --- then that is what I want to do!
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
I’m being indoctrinated as a Ranger based on my contribution to SAFe and TFS support. That’s in my wheelhouse.
