    I am having a problem running action recordings when Parameters are within the steps. The Parameter seems to be working correctly but as soon as I "pass" the test I get an error of: 1 Parameters are not mapped. Manually entered values will be used for playback What am I doing wrong?

    @Magicalsue this generally means there there was a problem when accessing the control property. Depending on the control technology it may not support MSAA (Microsoft Active Accessibility). We had this issue and upgrading the controls helped. The other probably more common issue can be caused by UAC (User Account Control). If the Application under test has been elevated (run as administrator) and Microsoft Test Manager has not the MTM will not be able to access those controls because the to processes are running at different levels. Basically i set MTM to always run elevated to prevent this.
