Send a letter from Outlook
Yes, it's true! Even though email now rules the communication world Outlook provides some speedy shortcuts to allow you to send a letter to your contacts (you remember; a letter is one of those things you put in an envelope with an overpriced stamp and drop into the little box half a mile from your house).
If you've stored a postal address for a contact in Outlook and (this is important) use the same software version for both Outlook and Word (e.g. both Outlook 2003 and Word 2003) you can send a letter to that contact by opening the contact in Outlook and selecting New Letter to Contact from the Actions menu. Follow the 4 step wizard and you're done. Now you just have to print it out, find an envelope, buy a stamp, locate the post box and wait several days for your letter to arrive.
Or just send an email.
