Britain Works – Microsoft Apprenticeship Scheme

 

The Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme supports the UK Government in creating more jobs and qualified individuals within the ICT sector. The programme, which has been designed for and developed by Microsoft Partners, enables Partners to benefit from high-calibre, subsidised young people on professionally recognized training courses.

The programme now consists of five versions covering Support,

Development and technical sales. These versions are designed to reflect the differing Partner business types and related competencies. We are working with five key training providers, all of which are Microsoft IT Academies, to deliver the programme. This graphic shows how the programme is structured from theme (Support, Developer and Sales) to version and indicates which training provider delivers which version:

All versions of the programme are Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships and are awarded through City & Guilds. Each one consists of a different set of Microsoft Certifications and is delivered in a style to suit the specific technologies and roles involved:

Inframon is one of many Microsoft Partners that are participating in the Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. In addition to taking apprentices form the Desktop Support version, they have helped us develop the Server Support Version.
