Convergence London 2010
Thanks to all who attended last week’s Convergence in London – there were many familiar faces, and apologies to those that I didn’t manage to catch up with, rather than just wave at!
We got a sneak peak at AX 6 during the AX General session, for those of you wishing to see more, your first opportunity is the AX Technical Conference in January 2011 over in Redmond – this will be an awesome conference, where you will get to see not only what’s coming but have direct contact with the teams who have been involved in building out the next generation of AX 6. This conference is available for both customers and partners to attend – if you want the early scoop on AX 6, we would strongly recommend you attend.

We also got to hear from some of our AX customers throughout the conference – Aston Martin Lagonda, UKAS, and Allgood were all up in the General Session, with Jacobs Photography, Talley Group, JJ Food Services and eBecs all sharing their personal experiences utilising AX to meet their business needs. below is a photo of the lovely Jan from Allgood having a chat with Kees about their 10 day upgrade experience during the General session:
in addition we also got to hear what was coming in relation to the AX 2009 roadmap – a whole session was dedicated to the IDMF (archiving to you and me), and also the AX and SAP Connector, which I’m pleased to say is now available on PartnerSource here, as well as the AX and CRM connector expected later this year.
Thanks again to all who attended the event, the feedback was great so thank you to all who have fed back – there’s always room for improvement so please do feel free to drop me a line if you want to add anything about improving the event
