I'd like to tell you a few things that I think are fun things to know about Microsoft, but I'm not sure how to start posting on this blog again, now that I've called it quits with certification. I feel a little like you feel when you see your ex at a party, or something. When you want to say hi but then you think well that might be awkward, they've moved on, just leave it. But then you think don't be ridiculous, act like a grownup, for once, so you do go say hi, and everyone looks mildly uncomfortable and asks how your parents are and you think to yourself:

Well, this is awkward.

But here we are.

So, hi.

 

How're your mom and dad doing? They good?

    Parents are good. My flight back from Seattle was uneventful. But first class does rock. Yes, you are a slacker. Ken Rosen and Joanne Lin DID manage to meet me for lunch at Wild Ginger. And you gave me twenty minutes to get to Pikes Place to meet you! :) Nothin but love for you tho.

    Well, the alternative is nobody says hi to each other because it would be awkward, and then you both stand around thinking the other is stuck up for not talking to you.  Somebody's got to be the strong one and say hi despite the awkwardness.  :-)
