New Episode: ADFS
We've just posted a new episode of The .NET Show. This one is on "Active Directory Federation Services" (ADFS, formerly known as "Trustbridge"). This is an authorization system that will allow secure cross-domain authorization and access to data, and since it uses the existing Authorization Manager (AzMan for short) methodology, it means that existing applications will easily be able to take advantage of it with little, if any, additional work.

We don't produce the show "live" (although it has been discussed from time to time). Instead we pre-tape the show over in our studios, then do some minor editing to it (to place the segments in the right order, cut out coughing fits, etc) get this sent out to have a transcript made of it, then build up the pages necessary for each episode, and post it to the web.

When you're doing the "somebody@microsoft.com" section, why not go out to where the person you're interviewing works, rather than interviewing in the studio.
Then we'd really be seeing someone at Microsoft.Anonymous

I'd love to be able to have our "somebody" segments be shot "on location", and in fact for the first few episodes this is exactly what we did. The problem however is that this not only takes more time, but it also costs more as well. We've got the show tailored right now to fit in very well with the budget we've gotten approval for, as well as being able to film the entire thing in a single day.
But thanks for the input!
