TechEd 2008 Developers Conference
TechEd 2008 Developers Conference
From June 3rd - 6th I will be at the TechEd 2008 Developers Conference (Note that the IT Professionals Conference is the following week).
Here is the details of my session:
Title: Implementing Visual Studio in Cross-Platform Environments
Abstract: Many enterprise customers have cross-platform environments and need tools that can bridge these environments. Microsoft recently made the decision to lift the historic platform restriction for developers extending Visual Studio, and we’re working with partners to improve our cross platform offerings. A number of partners provide solutions that integrate with Visual Studio for language services, embedded systems, and cross-platform tracing, and with VSTS for cross-platform client and team builds. This session will provide a summary of these offerings and then detail the cross-platform TFS solutions enabled by two key partners in this space, OpenMake and Teamprise. On-stage demos from these partners will show best practices for designing and implementing
cross-platform solutions in heterogeneous IT environments. This interactive session will give you the tools you need to show customers what can be done with Visual Studio and VSTS to meet the needs of cross-platform systems.
The date and time are TBD.
I hope to see you at one or more of these events.
Terry Clancy
