What is Maintenance Mode?
Maintenance mode is a feature in Operations Manager to suspend monitoring of an object during regular software or hardware maintenance activities like Software Update installations, Hardware replacements, etc.

    He Markus, Thanks for your feedback. I'm investigating if this KB is only for OM2007 and not OM2012. /Stefan

    "It is not recommend that you put management servers into Maintenance Mode. ..." I guess this KB is not for OM2012, since you in OM2012 can put half of your MS in MM as a maximum?
