Two Issues Fixed
There were two issues uncovered in 6.6.3.0 that is fixed in this release (6.6.4.0).
If the SCOM installation uses SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2, users will see an error during installation:
'DeploymentException': Failed to perform Data Warehouse component deployment operation: Install; Component: Script, Id: '4173391e-ce71-1369-c358-17030bb09b41', Management Pack Version-dependent Id: 'a2bce88f-fcf8-ddcb-7b0f-4d343e766e78'; Target: Database, Server name: 'XXXXXXX', Database name: 'OperationsManagerDW'. Batch ordinal: 42; Exception: Operand data type uniqueidentifier is invalid for max operator.
The user will not be able to use the SQL Dashboards. The user will see errors in the dashboards and the error log.
If the dashboards user has limited access rights to DW (granted only the OpsMgrReader role), he cannot access and/or modify the LastAlertValues table and he will get an error:
The INSERT permission was denied on the object 'Microsoft_SQLServer_Visualization_Library_LastAlertValues', database 'OperationsManagerDW'
The limited rights user will not be able to use the SQL Dashboards.
We are looking forward to hearing your feedback.
