We released SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 3 in November 2015. This is the cumulative update which contains all the new fixes that have been released for Service Pack 3. We follow an incremental servicing model which is explained in detail here: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/sqlreleaseservices/announcing-updates-to-the-sql-server-incremental-servicing-model-ism/

Hey,Thanks for the update. Is it expected that CU5 would not update the build number for Full-Text and Semantic Extractions for Search?Post install, the build is still reporting as SP3 (.6020)-Dan- Anonymous

It is not expected (nor reproducible). Have you check the setup logs for additional information such as errors? More information in https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143702(v=sql.110).aspx

Are the CUs no longer being released to WSUS? I thought I saw at least one CU come through there earlier in the year. It is convenient to be able to manage them through WSUS.- Anonymous
