Cumulative Update #3 for SQL Server 2014 SP1

Dear Customers,

The third cumulative update release for SQL Server 2014 SP1 is now available for download at the Microsoft Support site. Cumulative Update 3 contains all SQL Server 2014 SP1 hotfixes which have been available since the initial release of SQL Server 2014 SP1.

  I try to download and it gives an error that the page is not found. The issue was the same with CU2 hotfix download link.

  Seriously guys, do you even test anymore? Or read your blog comments? A customer reports that there is an error with the download link, and 4 days later, it's still happening?!? No, your users aren't drunk or slow - we really ARE getting a 404 error when attempting to download the hotfix bits (at least specifically for 487890_intl_x64_zip.exe). So once again: when requesting the hotfix download, the link for 487890_intl_x64_zip.exe we (or at least some of us) are receiving in the email leads to a 404 error. Please get this fixed.

  I agree with Tom, I am still getting a 404 on the 487890_intl_x64_zip.exe download.  How hard is this to do?

  Hi Tom, Justin, Will - We updated an incorrect metadata in the hotfix link yesterday which broke the link. We just switched back the metadata to show as ENU (instead of All Global) and tested the download. The link is working now however I am going to upload the bits again today with the correct metadata (All Global). Sorry for the inconvenience.

  I requested the hotfix today, (10/29/2015.) The emailed hotfix link did not seem to contain the CU#3 hotfix.  The extracted file was SQL_AS_OLEDB.msi.   I went back to the  kb 3094221 and noticed that the English only version says the fix name is SQL_AS_OLEDB_64.   Is this intentional, or is this related to the comment from two days ago about incorrect metadata?   I am now downloading 488103_intl_x64_zip.exe which supposedly contains MS_SQL14_SP1_QFE_CU3_x64.msi   Why does the ENU version only contain an installer for SQL_AS_OLEDB? Do we need to run both?

  MS_SQL14_SP1_QFE_CU3 is All (Global) and SQL_AS_OLEDB available in ENU only.

  Trying to install sql 2014 sp1 cu3 today.  Link I receive it so SQL_AS_OLEDB.  When I start the install it appears to be for analysis services. Package:

  Why is SQL_AS_OLEDB.msi included in this CU please? Is it an update to the feature pack item, or is it just the feature pack item included in the CU? Thanks.

  @Zaransvan The reason the MSI is included is that there was a fix in the OLEDB provider for OLAP.  For servers running SQL or Analysis Services, the CU installer will update the appropriate binaries, but in order to apply the fix to client machines the MSI needs to be used.   For the AS OLEBD provider the installer will install all language resources, but the installer is English

  Data Quality Service en Data Developement zijn omgedraaitdt.En het klokje is gerepareert.Niet achtergelaten.voor derden kun en konden de meesten naar huis bellen.gadgets delice woont hier.   Our server shows version 12.0.4213.0 after installing from Open License media for 2014 with SP1. I do not see this version listed in any of the version tables. Further, when we apply CU3, the version does not change. Why is this?
