it would be helpful if this was referenced in SP1 CU1, given it was incomplete. Also linking from support.microsoft.com/.../2958069 still gives SP1 This whole SP1 release has been shoddy, and the poor documentation just adds to itAnonymous

Its very unclear what has actually been fixed. are all the SSAS CU6-8s missed in SP1 CU1 addressed or are there some still outstanding like this one support.microsoft.com/.../3051798 that was in CU7Anonymous

Notes:The CU1 KB Article, as well as the CU1 SQL Release Services Blog Announcement, were updated on 8/18 to reflect SSAS Hotfix resolutions via CU2.
All RTM CU6-CU8 SSAS hotfixes previously released are included in CU#2

Why are SQL Server CUs referred to as hotfixes? The general understanding for other Microsoft products is that a CU contains tested patches and can be deployed to production systems. A hotfix is clearly not that, but rather a patch that should only be applied if needed. Are CUs for SQL Server hotfixes or not?
