I installed this on a machine with SQL Server 2012 SSMS version 11.0.6020.0. I have a fairly large hierarchy of managed servers that I created with a powershell script using the SQLPS technique of new-item $Name -itemtype registration -Value "server=$Name;integrated security=true" The servers I have in the 2012 SSMS don't show up as registered servers in this 2016 preview version. Shouldn't this pick up the entries since they are there in the SQLSERVER: "drive"?
