Coming from SSMS 2014, I liked to set the zoom in SSMS query editor at different levels, depending on the tab (i.e. window / query). But in SSMS 2016 March preview, when I change the zoom in one query pane, it changes in all open query tabs. Is this a bug or by design? Or is there a setting I can use to make query windows zoom independently of each other?

The March Preview is based on the Visual Studio 2015 Isolated Shell in difference to previous version that was based on VS2010. So my guess is that this is a change at VS to which SSMS is at prey. I tested this in VS2015, and indeed it behaves the same. I found no setting to control it. The VS people has a habit of doing all sorts of funny things without asking.

Where can we file a bug report? If you create a view with 2 tables that are linked on a foreign key, if you right-click the diamond icon between them (eg. to include ALL the items from Table1 even if no item exists in Table 2, it crashes 100% of the time (right at the point of right-clicking on that diamond icon).

It looks like this SSMS release doesn’t allow any 3rd party extensions. Any plans to reconsider this policy?

I'm having an issue with drag and drop in this version. If I have a query window open, dropping an SQL file into it does nothing. It still works if I drop the file into another area of the window. Dropping in the query window works in prior releases.

I am having the same problem as Mike reported a month ago - If you create a view with 2 tables that are linked on a foreign key, if you right-click the diamond icon between them (eg. to include ALL the items from Table1 even if no item exists in Table 2, it crashes 100% of the time (right at the point of right-clicking on that diamond icon).Since this issue is not getting resolved very quickly, is there a recommended work around?

I am having the crash problem reported below. I select two tables and join the key fields. When I right-click on the link to change the join, the system always crashes and restarts. Version: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 13.0.15000.23
