In this blog you will find posts about Microsoft SQL Server Native Client, or SQL Native Client for short. This is the component that provides ODBC and OLE DB support for Microsoft SQL Server from SQL Server 2005 onwards.

I'll get the ball rolling with a FAQ about native data access for SQL Server 2005 and by reposting some articles from the old and now suspended Data Access blog which are still quite topical.

    Hi, Any replies to it are highly appreciated. my situation: am using linked server to connect to a hetrogenious server, which i wanna avoid and use SQL OLE DB / native driver to the same result. Q. am looking for a clear 1 to n steps. Regards, Wsuman reply to waseem_suman@yahoo.com
