A couple of motorists have been receiving fines to the tune of R50 000 or more. As it turns out it was a software upgrade, where the the 50 000 was actually cents, rather than rands. You can read a bit more here. I wonder if they ran some tests after the upgrade!

    The most likely deployed to live straight from dev. Or their testers didn't test that part of the system.
