Community Night–Cape Town

Greetings

We are currently investigating holding our community night down in Cape Town at the Microsoft offices. So here is what we are thinking;

What: Free venue for Developer related Communities we also provide snacks and drinks.
When: 4:30 – 9:00pm Last Wednesday of every month possibly starting in September
Where: Microsoft Office Cape Town - Golf Park 3 Engen House Raapenberg Road

So here is what I need from the community:

1. Who would be keen on attending?
2. Which user groups would be interested in holding their sessions at the venue?

Drop us a mail via our blog with further questions or if your user group would be keen on using the venue.

    While I would love to attend the sessions, getting through City traffic to be there at 16:30 won't be practical for me.

    Hi Dave I would be keen. Just a note that SADev attempts to meet on the last Wed of the month already, I'm sure we could just slot in... Niel

    Hi Willem: Thanks for the feedback, the time is really up for discussion we could just run the evening from 6pm. Niel: Yup as we already have SADev there its easy enough for us to just expand on the same day. Thanks Dave

    Recommend starting at 4pm, folks working in the city bowl and crossing the M5 would be just ahead of the traffic.  Otherwise it would have to start at 6pm or later. Leigh

    Looking forward to this! I'm pretty flexable in terms of time so I guess that will work just fine for me :-)

    Very interested. Best time is from 18:00. Please take people in consideration that don't work close to town.
