Get Started with Silverlight (New QuickStart Articles)

Are you new to Silverlight or want to send your newbie friends somewhere to get started? Or maybe you've already kicked the Silverlight tires and now want to get an overview of other features?

Check out the expanded and updated Silverlight QuickStarts, with 25 topics including embedded running samples.  The QuickStarts are arranged in a prescribed order for those starting out (like chapters of a book), but the articles are designed to allow you to skip around to your heart's content.

... and there are more QuickStarts coming. Stay tuned.

Thanks,
Sam

I would really like to print them out. Are these topics available as a doc file?

Hi, thanks for replying Printing from the web page is tedious as it does not always print nicely and I have to print each topic separately which is a real pain.

Jacob, ah, I get what you're saying. Since they're pretty similar to chapters in a book, I could see making them available as a single document. The only issue is that the QS's rely heavily on samples running in the page. We could re-fit the docs to just link to running samples online, but then you'd have to have an internet connection not to mention you couldn't print it onto paper and have the same experience. Still, it's a thought we'll kick around. Thanks! Sam
