Windows Developer Roundup for 02.25.2011

This week, The Code Project held a virtual tech summit,

The Code Project Virtual tech summit covered some advanced Visual Studio presentations and information for agile developers.  If you're interested in watching the presentations, register for the CodeProject virutal tech summit and you can watch the talks online.

The new Windows Hardware Developer Center launched this week with resources for hardware developers.  If you are a driver developer, this is the best place for you to start if you haven't already been using it.  If you have any comments on the revisions, feel free to send me an email using the contact form on my blog and I'll forward it to the site owner.

We are currently conducting a survey to try and determine the course of action we should take regarding glossaries on MSDN.  If you have a minute, send us some feedback in this two question survey on glossaries and terms.

I published (or retoasted, I should say) a new article on 3D game programming with Windows Touch.  This was a really fun project that I worked on with Ian Backlund a little over a year ago to help developers integrate Windows Touch input into Direct3D games.  If you like this project, or 3D programming projects, you might also want to check out Windows Touch 3D programming with Custom Gestures and Scene controls.

I have been continuing discussions about the Windows Developer Center and it's not clear what the right course of action currently is in terms of redesign.  However, I will be working hard at acquiring and highlighting some great new content in the coming months.

Have a great weekend, follow Windows Developer on twitter for real-time announcements and news, follow me on twitter if you are interested in my random thoughts.
