Custom Role changes in Service Manager are not reflected to consoles

This is the scenario: As an SCSM admin you added a non-admin user into a custom role. Therefore you expect that the user can see the view(s) defined in the custom role. The non-admin user is saying that the view(s) are NOT visible in the console. Re-opening the console does not help.

This is the reverse scenario: As an SCSM admin you removed a non-admin user from a custom role. Therefore you expect that the user cannot see the view(s) defined in the custom role. The non-admin user is saying that the view(s) are STILL visible in the console. Re-opening the console does not help.

This is a known issue in UR6 and UR7 for SCSM 2012 R2. Until it is fixed, please visit the Microsoft Connect site for the workaround:
