SBS 2008 & EBS 2008 to launch on November 12th
I'm in Houston for the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference this week & there are quite a few announcements coming out.
First & foremost - November 12th will be the official public launch date for both SBS 2008 & EBS 2008. Full details on the press release here. This means product availability around the October timeframe - Open pricelist, boxed product & of course pre-installed systems by the major hardware manufacturers.
Also announced was the availability of RC1 - a significant milestone in the release schedule for both products.
In Australia we'll leverage events such as the Australian Partner Conference in August & SMB Servers Pre-day at TechEd in September to train partners on the new technology in preparation for the public launch in November. More training (online & face-to-face) will be coming soon.
