We are running the Imagine Cup in Ireland this year!
For the first time ever, this year's Imagine Cup competition will include Ireland!
I just got out of a meeting with Liam Cronin, one of my colleagues here at Microsoft Ireland, who is leading the charge and making it happen.
The Imagine Cup is an international competition for students, with 9 categories that span Technology Solutions, Skills Challenges, and Digital Arts. There are impressive prizes to be won - and cool travel to be had. I want to see an Irish team travel to the finals in Seoul!
Check it out, Imagine Cup Ireland 07 was announced on a Bebo page. And a traditional web page as well.
Which do you think is going to get more hits from Irish students? (hint) :)

Paul, I had just finished updated the text when I read your comment - and forgive me for being ambiguous - yes indeed, it is taking place in Korea this year, and it is open (for the first time) to students from Ireland. And I really hope WIT is entering! :)Anonymous
