Last autumn (err, "last fall") I also commented to a friend on how pretty all the different "versions" of trees looked with their different coloured leaves.

how many colors can the leaves of your favorite version of tree support before you run into scalability problems?
Most of the trees with changable color settings in my area seem to rely on a 4 color system, achieving gradations of tone via a mixing algorithm. - Anonymous

Cool, 2-bit colour. I can't wait for the full 32-bit alpha-blended trees to be released. :-)
