Deployment–are you using PDT?
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here… and there’s a good reason for that, which I hope to share soon. But first, I have a question:
Are you using PDT, and if so, how are you using it?
There have been over 12,000 downloads of PDT from the TechNet Gallery. Every week I get at least a couple of interesting emails from people using it – from organizations large and small and everywhere in between, using it in all sorts of ways from building their own private cloud to building hosted private clouds for their customers.
So, if you are using PDT, please email me and tell me a little bit about who you are and how you are using it. My email address is in first few lines of each of the scripts. I will not publish anything you tell me… this is purely for me to think about what to focus on next for this toolkit.
Thanks!

Yep, I used it a few times back in May to build a lab test implementation of System Center. It worked well with a couple of minor issues (seehttp://superwidgets.wordpress.com/2014/05/24/pdt-error-adk81adksetup-exe-incorrect-version/) - Anonymous

Rob,
I have been using PDT since the beginning. I would like to see support continue. Also agree with the other comments as to saving time. Building the infrastructure consistently allows for focus on customization for customers. A outstanding example of PowerShell coding! - Anonymous

Jack - VMCreator currently does not create HA VMs for you, it's on a list of potential improvements. - Anonymous

I was wondering, is there a way to use the PDT to deploy only parts of SC like VMM or OpsMgr? - Anonymous

Sam - yes, just remove the Roles from the section that you do not want to deploy. - Anonymous

Rob,
Great tool. Has contributed days to my work life balance. I did have one question. Most of my Hyper-v hosts are clustered. I can have VMCreator build onto one of the nodes and migrate them after the fact which works fine but is tie consuming. Is there a way to make VMCreator create directly to the cluster? - Anonymous

Yes I do, however I hope that current download issues are covered in an upcoming Version. :-)
