Microsoft Architects Journal 4
The Microsoft Architects Journal 4 has just been published in PDF format. You can get it at the MSDN download center. There look to be some very interesting articles in there that I'll have to read as soon as I get a moment. Here's a quick table of contents of the articles in this edition:
- Choosing the Right Presentation Layer Architecture
- Information Bridge Framework
- Benchmarking a Transaction Engine
- Enterprise Architecture Alignment Heuristics
- Razorbills
- Next Generation Tools for OOD
The first article is also online as an article, so you can read it there instead. And, the next generation tools article discusses model driven architectures (MDA). The Whitehorse toolset delivers some of what is being described there with the Distributed System Designers and the Class Designer, and the DSL (Domain Specific Language) Tools that had a preview release in Dec. But, we're discussing these issues as Software Factories rather than MDA.

Hi,
I am working on a new design pattern for my Bachelors thesis project. I would be grateful if you read this and let me know your views:
