new Microsoft Common Engineering Criteria website is Live
The Microsoft Common Engineering Criteria (CEC) programme establishes a set of engineering requirements across all Microsoft server products. The goal of the CEC program is to reduce the overall total cost of ownership (TCO) through improved integration, manageability, security, reliability, and other critical infrastructure attributes.
The new CEC External Website is live at https://microsoft.com/cec.
Check out the site, read the papers and see the published scorecards for Microsoft server products. You can search for scorecards by product or by technical area & requirement. For example, ever wonder how many Microsoft server products have IPv6 support since it became a mandatory CEC requirement? Find the answer here.
The Common Engineering Criteria programme is now also on Technet, https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff460855.aspx and you can download the Overview and Program Details documents from the Microsoft Download Center.
