OMS Log Analytics search is now available in the Azure Portal

Summary: Learn how to use OMS Log Analytics directly in the Azure Portal

Good morning everyone. We are happy to announce that OMS Log Analytics Search is now available in the Azure Portal. With this release, you can search and analyze all of the logs and metrics from your Azure environment as well as your on-premises assets. This means you can do full diagnostics and analytics for your hybrid environment from within Azure portal.

To access this new feature, you first go to the The Log Analytics (OMS) Resource Blade from your Microsoft Azure console. Here, you will find that it has a new tile named Log Search. This appears in the figure here:

Once you select the new Log Search tile a new blade with Log Analytics Search opens. As appears in the figure here, this looks very familiar if you have used Search within the OMS Portal in the past.
