Windows Mobile DST Patch.

If you are running a Windows Mobile device and find that the clock didn't change on Sunday (the US moved the DST date back three weeks) then you may need to download the Windows Mobile DST Patch you can do this directly on your device or through a desktop PC.

    What if you installed that patch, but the clock still didn't change?

    Interesting, the patch didn't work on my device either. I will do some digging.

    There are times that it "appears" to be installing, but it doesn't install unless the device is connected at that time.  We've had a few calls about this.  If you go into ActiveSync Add/Remove programs with your device connected, you may need to check DST Update to install the update.  If it is already checked, it is installed.   It may still be operating under old DST rules, you may need to change the time zone to another time zone, apply, then change it back to the correct time zone. -JasperM

    Oh, one other thing I forgot to say, the patch adds the "GMT 8 - Tijuana, Baja California" to the time zone list as well...if that is not there, you are not updated.  Feel free to refer to this article I wrote: http://samsungwireless.com/support/dst/ Should apply to non-Samsung devices as well.

    I just checked and sure enough Tijuana was missing, removed then reinstalled and it seems to have taken. We'll see if it sticks to the correct time. Thanks for the tip JasperM
