.NET Micro Framework SDK 2.0 released.

At Embedded World in Nuremberg/Germany the .NET Micro Framework team released the .NET Micro Framework 2.0 SDK (link to download) - This is a plug-in to Visual Studio 2005 that allows you to quickly and easily develop solutions based on the .NET Micro Framework.

Last week at Tech Days in Paris I recorded a demo with Olivier Bloch showing the .NET Micro Framework SDK being used to develop a remote control for a Parallax robot

Colin Miller from the .NET Micro Framework team has been interviewed by a number of embedded press at Embedded World - here's a link to a Computer World article covering the .NET Micro Framework.

  FYI, there's a type on your website about the .net micro framework footprint. It says 250500KB. Unless of course the .net micro framework actually is 244MB ;) The page is here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/embedded/bb278106.aspx#table
