MEDC 2007: The Good, Bad, and Ugly.
Yep, it's MEDC 2007 time again, we've just completed the first day (and at the time of this posting, the second day of the event kicks off in about six hours!).
If you are attending the event I'd really like to hear all of your comments about the event, what's worked well, what can be improved for next year, and what just totally sucked.
Fire away, the MEDC 2007 team would really like to hear your comments, good, bad, and ugly.

The conference was definitely lacking for those of us that registered for the "Managing Devices" track. There was only one session on Tuesday, the majority on Wednesday and only 2 on Thursday. This meant that there were multiple conflicts on Wednesday and because you had to choose, you missed other important sessions. I do not see the reason why these sessions were not spread out evenly over the 3 days so that there would be minimal or potentially no conflicts. Also, the Thursday sessions were the first session in the morning and the last session of the day meaning people had to wait around all day to attend that session. Even more disappointing to me was the cancellation of 2 of the main sessions that I wanted to attend. I hope better attention is paid to scheduling for this track in the future.
