FIX: U.S. daylight saving time changes in 2007 do not occur on the correct day on Windows CE 5.0-based devices
U.S. daylight saving time zones change in 2007. However, these changes do not occur on the correct day on Microsoft Windows CE 5.0-based devices. Windows CE 5.0 changes the time on the first or last Sunday of the month. Windows CE 5.0 does not change the time on the second or third Sunday of the month.
There is an update available for CE 5.0 that addresses this issue - take a look at the following KB921095 Knowledge Base Article (KB Article).

Curious...If a CE device syncs with a PC that has the Daylight Savings Time patch, which time wins on the mobile device? Also, what if a device running Windows Mobile gets the time from the network? Is this a case where the daylight savings time is calculated on the mobile device using a registry setting? Much like on the PC?Anonymous

I'm a bit confused. If as the KB says this was fixed in July 2006, why is it news at this time?Anonymous
