SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 - December CTP
Before I go on vacation, I'd like to send a quick thank you to the community for giving us their thoughts on the November CTP of SP2. There were many thousands of downloads and a lot of people have started posting their suggestions and bug reports on Microsoft Connect.
I'd like to call out a few MVPs for their reviews/feedback on the features in my area:
Erland Sommarskog -- Thanks for your consistent feedback through Microsoft Connect and the MVP newsgroup.
Simon Sabin and Jasper Smith -- Thanks for making a couple of useful reports... and for taking the time to figure out the new custom reports feature before our documentation was even finished.

Can I install the CTP version of Management Studio alone to get the new reporting features? Or has the server also to be patched? I'd like to test the new stuff against SAP systems, but cannot put CTPs on this machines for obvious reasons. Kind regards, RudiAnonymous
