Nice free GPS Navigation
You guys know about Windows Live Search mobile right? Well one of the cool features that I just found out and decided to record is the "Center on GPS" feature which effectively turns your Live Search application into a free GPS Navigation software. Only thing lacking is the voice.
Checkout the video I recorded on my way home this evening. I've uploaded it to YouTube and Soapbox.
Obviously in order to get this working you need a Bluetooth GPS receiver paired with your Windows Mobile device. I found it a little cumbersome when setting it up the first time, as the Bluetooth configuration application doesn't tell you which COM port it listens to. The most typical COM port is COM6. All you need to do is to go into Live Search and configure it to listen to COM6 for a GPS signal.
Try it out for yourself.

Love this... I hope Europe maps will be supported as well soon, if not now :) Any chance of a look at the code behind the GPS signal conversion ;) KAnonymous

The center on GPS feature is cool indeed. I am using my Deluo Bluetooth GPS with Live Search Mobile on my HTC Wizard and I just love it. The GPS setup part is not hard either but it can be a little bit confusing, the guide I got from Deluo tech support pointed me in the right direction. It is a step by step guide with screenshots and it is available here: http://www.deluo.com/support/manuals/BT-WLS-QIG.pdf
