Hi Khalid: Just the opposite, you can reference this link : technet.microsoft.com/.../hh205990.aspx : Web Console part : Important You must install IIS before installing .NET Framework 4. If you installed IIS after installing .NET Framework 4, you must register ASP.NET 4.0 with IIS. Open a Command prompt window by using the Run As Administrator option, and then run the following command: %WINDIR%Microsoft.NETFramework64v4.0.30319aspnet_regiis.exe -r Enjoy !Anonymous

Hello Justin, Thank you for the efforts in creating this document, but I think there is a slight error. In the guide, it specified that IIS should be installed BEFORE .NET 4.0 (on P24), and that is to be followed by registration using the command specified on that page. However, if you install .NET 4.0 BEFORE IIS, there will be no need to run this command or register anything because after the installation of IIS, all the required parts will be registered and ready. Registration is only needed if you install IIS first. Thanks again for the documentation, much appreciated.Anonymous

Hello Justin, I just logged back to tell you that I realized I got it backwards and found that you beat me to it! Thanks again and apologies for the confusion. I am embarrassed! :) I would hate to have my comment confuse a quick passerby, so please feel free to delete it, if you deem it necessary. Thank you.Anonymous
