Insert writing space horizontally in OneNote
Today one of the testers came by needing to try a test on a tablet PC. He needed to test that he could insert writing space both vertically and horizontally. I knew you could add writing space and move content on the page up or down (vertically) by clicking the Draw tab and then Insert Space. But I had never realized you could insert space near the edges horizontally.
All you have to do is click Draw and then Insert Space. When you move the mouse, or stylus pointer, to the side, then you should see the little blue line that signifies this is where to insert the extra space. It looks something like this:
I could not figure out how to capture the pointer graphic, so I added one with MS Paint. I have no graphic skills, I know, but you should be able to get the idea from the image here.
Then when you click and drag to the right, all the content moves over to the right and you get more drawing space on the left of the page. Same behavior on the right.
Pretty slick and I learn something new every day.
I hope you appreciate this tip.
Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,
John

The insert button is also on the INSERT tab.
