This is the next part in my occasional series of posts on getting the best out of SharePoint or getting it deployed. It's been a while but here's the next one :)

 

Find your mavens. No, I didn't know what a Maven was either - Encarta defines it as "an expert or knowledgeable enthusiast". It's basically someone who has knowledge and wants to share it. It could be because they genuinely want to share information or maybe it's because they need their ego stroking.

Either way, get them blogging and give them a voice.

Make the blog available to everyone.

Index the content and have a nice ready made knowledge base.

These people have great information to share and can be your best advocates and evangelists.

Every company has them.

It's just up to you to find them .. .. .. .. .. ..
